Do I require a special license to drive a GoCheap motorhome?
You do not require a special license, just a current and full motor vehicle driver’s license to be produced upon vehicle collection. A foreign license in a language other than English must be accompanied by a current international driving permit issued in the same country as the driver’s license or an accredited English translation.
How old do I have to be to drive a GoCheap Motorhome?
Drivers must be aged between 21 and 79 years old to drive Go Cheap campervans and motrhomes.

Are there restrictions on where I can drive?
Go Cheap motorhomes and campervans can only be driven on sealed/bitumen roads. The only exceptions to this are well-maintained access roads of less than five kilometres to recognised campgrounds. Should a customer wish to travel on an unsealed road that is greater than five kilometres in length to access a recognised campground, special permission can be arranged pending road condition, weather and distance. Please contact your local depot to discuss.
When is the best time of year to hire a campervan in Sydney?
The best time for a great trip touring out of Sydney is springtime and autumn when temperatures are mild and there is lots of sunshine. Spring in Sydney is around September through November, and autumn is roughly March through May.
