What forms of payment are accepted at El Monte RV Rentals?
Renting an RV? El Monte accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express cards. These cards can be used to pay for both the Security Deposit and for the balance due.
Do I need a special driver's license to drive in the United States?
There is no need for a special driver’s license. The renter and all drivers must have a minimum age of 21 years (25 years at some rental locations) with a permanent, valid driver’s license (temporary replacements or provisional licenses are not accepted) from the country of residence and current identification (including passport for non-US residents). An International Driver's license translation is recommended but not required.
Can we bring our own child seat or booster seat?
Yes, customers of El Monte RVs are encouraged to provide their own child or booster seat.
Are there restrictions on where we can drive the camper rental?
El Monte RV restricts customers from traveling to certain regions due to road conditions, extreme weather, acts of God, security alerts, and/or availability of support. Please note the following restrictions:
Off-road: Travel on non-public, unpaved and/or ‘logging’ roads is not permitted.
Death Valley: Traveling in or traversing Death Valley is not permitted by El Monte RV in July and August. In May, June, and September travel is permitted, however, the customer is fully responsible for all mechanical problems and/or towing or vehicle recovery costs.
Traveling through Manhattan is not permitted.
Freezing conditions may occur in certain seasons at higher elevations and should be anticipated and precautionary measures are taken. Clients are responsible for any damage to the RV rental due to systems freezing due to cold weather.
Performance of motorhome systems under extreme conditions cannot be guaranteed.
Can we bring our pet with us?
Yes, pets are allowed in El Monte motorhomes. In fact, many of their pet-friendly RVs include standard with upgraded amenities and some even have slide-outs for more room while traveling. If it is your first time renting with your pet, please note that there is no additional charge to bring them. However, if the motorhome is returned in an unclean condition, there might be cleaning fees applied upon drop-off. So make sure that you return the Elmonte RV in its original condition.
Is the motorhome equipped with a generator?
Yes, the El Monte RV price includes a generator with the rental.
